Job Overview:

A reputable engineering company is seeking an experienced Store Incharge to oversee inventory management and ensure the efficient handling of materials and supplies. The role involves coordinating with various departments, maintaining inventory levels, and managing store operations both manually and using SAP.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Receive items from vendors, generate Inward Goods Pass (IGP) as per Delivery Challan (DC) manually, and physically verify the quantity and weight of copper materials.
  • Material Inspection: Send material inspection requests to the Quality department on the same day of receipt.
  • Inventory Requests: Process inventory transfer requests from production, ensuring timely fulfillment.
  • Supply Maintenance: Maintain supplies and materials to meet production needs and general item requirements.
  • Issuance of Materials: Issue materials and equipment to different departments as required.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain minimum inventory levels in SAP and manually; generate purchase requests for items below minimum levels.
  • Documentation: Generate manual Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) as per Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain hard copies of IGP, DC, and Outward Goods Pass (OGP) according to serial numbers.
  • Stock Replacement: Receive and verify replaced stock, materials, and equipment to ensure accuracy in terms of number and specification.
  • Record Keeping: Keep up-to-date records of all stock movements, both in SAP and manually in Excel.
  • Reordering: Reorder stock as needed to maintain optimum levels of parts, materials, and equipment.
  • Store Management: Maintain a tidy, safe, and efficient store environment.
  • Departmental Coordination: Liaise with relevant departments to ensure stock items and levels meet their requirements.

Skills Required:

  • Responsibility: Ability to take charge of store operations and maintain accurate records.
  • Leadership Skills: Lead and manage store staff effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills for coordinating with departments and vendors.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in warehousing or store management.
