Job Description
Farmers play a crucial role in producing the majority of the world’s food supply. They are responsible for growing crops, raising animals, and contributing to food production. As a farm laborer, you will engage in a variety of tasks, including planting, cultivating, harvesting crops, and managing livestock.
Responsibilities
- Caring for blossoming trees
- Managing grain and related tasks
- Sowing, growing, and watering crops
- Maintaining and operating agricultural machinery and equipment
- Fertilizer blending and greenhouse maintenance
- Harvesting produce and transporting strong cargo
- Re-potting and transplanting plants
- Clearing workspace and maintaining order
- Ensuring safety and adhering to security checks, including criminal record verification
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
- Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks
- Physically demanding work requiring good eye-hand coordination
- Extended periods of standing, walking, and carrying heavy loads
- Overtime may be required
