The caretaker government in Pakistan has chosen to keep the petrol prices unchanged for the upcoming fortnight, spanning from January 1, 2024, to January 15, 2024. The decision entails maintaining the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) at their current levels, while a slight reduction has been applied to the prices of kerosene oil and light diesel oil (LDO).
As per the official announcement, the petrol price will be retained at Rs. 267.34 per litre, and the price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) will remain steady at Rs. 276.21 per litre.
Meanwhile, there is a reduction in the prices of kerosene and light diesel oil (LDO) by Rs. 2.19 per litre and Rs. 1.11 per litre, respectively. This adjustment brings the new prices for kerosene and LDO to Rs. 188.83 per litre and Rs. 163.53 per litre, respectively.
