Job Overview:

Residential painters in Bahrain are responsible for applying paint, varnish, stains, and other finishes to both exterior and interior surfaces such as brick, wood, plaster, drywall, steel, concrete, and more. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and knowledge of various painting tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Paint and finish surfaces including walls, furniture, and equipment.
  • Use tools such as paintbrushes, rollers, and sprayers effectively.
  • Apply putty, sand surfaces, and remove old paint using tools like scrapers and blowtorches.
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by applying primers and sealants.
  • Build scaffolding or set up ladders to reach high surfaces.
  • Keep track of materials and report shortages.
  • Ensure all painting work is performed to a high standard.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service, communication, and aesthetic skills.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in painting, with more experience leading to better job prospects.
  • Language: Basic proficiency in Arabic and English is required.
  • Education: A secondary education or high school diploma is preferred but not mandatory. A trade certification or diploma in joinery is a significant advantage.
  • PCC (Police Clearance Certificate): Required.
