About the Team:

As a Marketing Manager for Food & DineOut, you will play a critical role in driving Careem’s food marketing strategy in Saudi Arabia. Your efforts will help increase brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention, contributing to Careem’s overall success in the region. This role involves a high level of market understanding, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute quarterly and monthly marketing plans aligned with the demand and commercial strategies.
  • Goal Tracking & Achievement: Set and track key marketing performance indicators (KPIs) such as acquisition, retention, and brand awareness.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of marketing executives to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Budget Management: Oversee marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation and tracking of monthly spend.
  • Customer Communication & CRM: Develop and manage customer communication plans, ensuring alignment with CRM processes.
  • Campaign Development: Own the marketing calendar and lead end-to-end campaign execution.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the food commercial team to create monthly merchant marketing plans.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with finance, product, growth, brand, and digital teams on new launches, campaigns, and target-setting.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure an exceptional customer journey and experience across all touchpoints.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5-6 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the technology or start-up industry.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in both Arabic and English.
  • Operational Expertise: Ability to manage complex operations and meet tight deadlines.
  • Budget Management: Experience handling marketing budgets, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor a team.
  • Innovation & Vision: Ability to develop innovative marketing solutions and articulate a compelling vision.
  • Outgoing Personality: Confident and skilled in teaching and guiding others.
  • Education: BS/MS degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • Saudi Market Knowledge: Minimum understanding of the Saudi ecosystem, dynamics, and food scene.
