The seismic event, recorded at a depth of 35 kilometers (21.75 miles), had its epicenter located 102 kilometers west-southwest of Lanzhou, China. It’s worth noting that earthquakes of this magnitude are frequently observed in this particular region of China.
In addition, on Tuesday, another earthquake shook Kashmir and parts of Pakistan, but fortunately, there were no reported casualties or damage to public property.
