Dubai Government Employees Granted Remote Work on February 13

In response to ongoing heavy rainfall in Dubai, government employees have been instructed to work from home for an extra day on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. The directive was issued following instructions from Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai.

The remote work advisory has been extended to all government employees in Dubai, excluding those whose job responsibilities necessitate physical presence in the workplace.

Concurrently, the UAE’s Ministry of Education has prolonged the period of remote learning for all government schools on February 13. The decision, made by the Emirates Education Foundation, is a precautionary measure in response to the adverse weather conditions in the country. The primary objective is to ensure the safety of both students and instructors.
