  • Earthquake Tremors Rattle Multiple Cities Across Pakistan

Islamabad, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Mardan, Faisalabad, Kohat, and several other cities in Pakistan experienced earthquake tremors at approximately 2:20 pm on Thursday.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) reported the earthquake to be of magnitude 6.0, originating from the Hindu Kush Region in Afghanistan, with a depth of 213 kilometers.

While there are no immediate reports of significant damage or casualties, authorities are closely monitoring the situation. Residents are urged to stay vigilant and follow safety protocols. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.

The earthquake tremors that shook Pakistan were reportedly felt in neighboring countries, including Afghanistan, India, Uzbekistan, and other regions in the vicinity. The seismic activity originated from the Hindu Kush Region in Afghanistan, with a recorded magnitude of 6.0 and a depth of 213 kilometers.
