Sunni Ulema Council (SUC) leader Maulana Masood Ur Rehman Usmani was fatally shot in Islamabad on Friday. The tragic incident occurred when unknown assailants targeted Maulana Masood Usmani in the Ghauri Town area of the city.

The Islamabad Police reported that unidentified gunmen fired upon the vehicle of Sunni Ulema Council (SUC) Deputy General Secretary, Maulana Masood Usmani, and quickly fled the scene.
Immediately following the tragic incident, law enforcement personnel arrived at the crime scene, cordoning off the area to commence their investigation.
