Petrol Prices in Pakistan: It’s good to hear that the caretaker government in Pakistan has decided to reduce the Petrol Prices in Pakistan, High-Speed Diesel (HSD), Kerosene Oil, and Light Diesel Oil (LDO) for the next fortnight from December 16, 2023, to December 31, 2023. Such adjustments in fuel prices can have various impacts on the economy and the daily lives of the citizens.
As per the recent announcement, there has been a notable decrease in Petrol Prices in Pakistan, now reduced by Rs. 14.00 per litre. High-Speed Diesel (HSD) has also seen a price cut of Rs. 13.50 per litre. Additionally, the prices of Kerosene and Light Diesel Oil (LDO) have been reduced by Rs. 10.14 and Rs. 11.29 per litre, respectively.
Following these adjustments, the updated petrol price in Pakistan stands at Rs. 267.34 per litre, while High-Speed Diesel (HSD) is now priced at Rs. 276.21 per litre. Furthermore, the revised prices for Kerosene and Light Diesel Oil (LDO) are Rs. 191.02 per litre and Rs. 164.64 per litre, respectively.

Effective today, on December 16, 2023, the updated prices for diesel and petrol in Pakistan will be applicable for the remainder of the month. The decision to revise petroleum product prices for the fortnight starting from December 16, 2023, has been made by the Government of Pakistan in accordance with the recommendations put forth by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), as per the official notification.
